A June Wedding at Wheatleigh

It was love at first sight. At least as far as this planner was concerned when meeting for the first time with Roxanne and Hudson. In an instant, I could tell that their love ran deep and their energy high…and that this journey was going to be loads of fun!

Both Roxanne and Hudson had fairly high-stress, uber-busy careers in Manhattan, where the two lived after meeting in grad school. And while neither of them had a ton of time to spend on the planning (although they did a great job!), they each had a pretty clear idea of how they wanted their Wheatleigh wedding to play out.

One of my favorite things about this fun couple was that they wanted to do it all! An engagement session in NYC (these photos by Dani Fine Photography are iconic!), a killer welcome party at Tanglewood (to include the Ringo Starr concert) and a dreamlike wedding day that was elegant and traditional…with an edgy Galia Lahav dress!

As with most destination weddings in the Berkshires, all of their guests were traveling in from various places, and we were able to include some of our beautiful Lenox inns—Gateways Inn and 33 Main (an Annie Selke property)—to round out our quintessential Berkshires escape.

Overall, the weekend was full of family, friends and fun, as we all got to watch these two start the journey of a lifetime. There’s just nothing like a wedding in the Berkshires! Hope you enjoy the weekend download, below, followed by the full vendor list.
